Thank You!

Thank you for taking the time now to make the necessary changes to your e-mail. We appreciate your cooperation.

These instructions will walk you through the process of adding a BEVCOMM e-mail account to your current e-mail settings. Once your BEVCOMM account is added, be sure to check your mail (click Send/Receive). This will allow you to retrieve any new e-mail from your Cannon Valley account. You will also receive an e-mail from BEVCOMM with the subject "NOTICE: E-Mail Forwarding". This e-mail will give you the option to request e-mail forwarding.

NOTE: If you use Cannon Valley WebMail to send e-mail messages, we urge you to print your Address list before going any further. You will not have access to Cannon Valley WebMail once e-mail forwarding is in place. Your addresses will need to be re-entered in BEVCOMM WebMail.

E-Mail Forwarding
Forwarding of your e-mail will allow all e-mails sent to your “cvtel.net” address to arrive in your “bevcomm.net” e-mail account.  E-mail forwarding will be in place for 30 days unless you request otherwise by contacting BEVCOMM at 1-800-473-1442.

NOTE: If you use Cannon Valley WebMail to send e-mail messages, print your list of addresses before going any further. You will not have access to Cannon Valley WebMail after e-mail forwarding is in place.

Once e-mail forwarding has been established, you will receive a confirmation e-mail. Your existing Cannon Valley e-mail account can be removed once the forwarding is in place and you are confident all e-mails sent to your existing “cvtel.net” address are arriving in your mailbox.

Web Mail
You will no longer have access to Cannon Valley WebMail once your "cvtel.net" e-mail is forwarding to your "bevcomm.net" e-mail address. Effective January 28, 2008, Cannon Valley WebMail will no longer be available.

You will be able to access your new “bevcomm.net” e-mail using BEVCOMM WebMail. Please note: Some existing e-mail passwords were not able to transfer (this applies to BEVCOMM WebMail only). If you cannot access your e-mail account using BEVCOMM WebMail, please contact BEVCOMM at 1-800-473-1442. A new password will need to be assigned to you.

How to Access Your BEVCOMM WebMail:

Your Password
You will continue to use your existing e-mail password provided by Cannon Valley. However, if you do not know your password, a new password will need to be assigned to you. Please contact BEVCOMM at 1-800-473-1442 for a new password.

All new passwords will need to meet password strength requirements. This is for your benefit to help keep your e-mail information safe from hackers and other threats including identity theft. In the future, you will be able to change your password on-line but for now, you will need to contact BEVCOMM at 1-800-473-1442.

E-Mail Limitations
The BEVCOMM server has e-mail limitations to keep your e-mail secure and to prevent e-mail spamming. One of the limitations is the number of e-mail addresses sent per e-mail message. If you are sending one e-mail message to a list of e-mail addresses, the address list can only include 25 addresses. The e-mail will be rejected and will not be sent if the e-mail includes more than 25 addresses.

Using "means.net"
For those of you who are still using the old "means.net" domain, this domain will no longer work after January 31, 2008. You will need to take the necessary measures to discontinue the use of "means.net" when sending and receiving e-mail.
